This place is very good value for money. Staff are nice and professional, facilities are well-maintained and comfortable, but the absolute killer is the location: direct access to the beach and the walking zone. If you want a relaxing beach holiday with pools and a high level of comfort, I highly recommend it.

Absolutely amazing and incredibly helpful staff!! From the moment we arrived at the Hotel to getting sun chairs at the beach until departure the staff was amazing and really made us feel at home. The breakfast buffet was also really good, well stocked and with a live kitchen that made all the warm dishes right there. Housekeeping was also great, very clean and tidy rooms and also there, very friendly staff that always were there to help. During our last day they even offered some of the spa features that usually cost extra, which was very appreciated. The location was also great, the hotel goes right down to the beach, where you get sun chairs and umbrellas. It's a roughly 30 min walk down to Malinska center if you want some more restaurants and shops but that walk is along the whole beach and is very pleasant in the evening.

Excellent facilities, great view to the sea. The property is located directly on the beach. Staff were very polite, efficient, welcoming and did their very best to make our stay enjoyable. Everybody was smiling, communicative and friendly. The apartment exceeded our expectation, it was perfectly clean, very well equipped, the furniture was stylish and comfortable. Parking is offered both at an underground garage and surface parking right at the doorstep of the resort. The main restaurant and the pool-side bar offered a range of foods and drinks, which could be enjoyed overlooking the beach. Our trip terminated early due to a medical reason (not related to our stay) and the resort staff was very understanding, flexible and supportive in handling our situation. We will certainly return to Blue Waves Resort!

We had a wonderful time at the Blue Waves Resort. Despite the presence of many families with children, there are several quiet spots with beautiful views for relaxation. Unfortunately, on the second day, we had a disagreement with the unfriendly restaurant manager. He dismissed our polite request disrespectfully and did not take it seriously. Following this incident, we contacted the Front Office Manager, Adriano, to report the unpleasant and disappointing encounter. He personally apologized and made great efforts to rectify the situation. His dedication turned a negative experience into a positive one. The way complaints are handled here demonstrates that the hotel is professionally managed and that guest satisfaction is a top priority, at least at the higher management level.

We spent an unforgettable week with our family at this resort. The rooms were clean and air-conditioned, and we even received separate beach towels. The sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach were free of charge, which was a great perk. The cleaning staff was very nice, and the beds were comfortable. The receptionists were incredibly helpful, guiding us upon arrival and showing us around the wellness area and pools. This place is a perfect choice for families, with amenities like a children's pool. It's also a quiet place, ideal for relaxation. We had breakfast at the resort, and the selection was impressive: fresh fruit, various bakery products, locally fried eggs, scrambled eggs, and sausages. The beach is pebbly, so bring water shoes because sea urchins can be found here and there. If you forget, there's a department store nearby where you can buy some. The sea is crystal clear, and the fish are as common as city pigeons. They're accustomed to people but won't let you hold them. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and highly recommend this resort for a family vacation.

The staff was very friendly, the rooms clean, the restaurant service excellent. The lady who was responsible for the programs in and around the swimming pool excellened in organizing gym exercises and waterpolo matches (in which guests of different nationalities enjoyed playing together).

I would like to give a special shout out to all the staff working at Blue Waves, frontline and behind the scenes. The facilities were super clean, room service was doing a great job and all the cooks and wait staff that made meal time enjoyable. Our family had a very nice stay and we certainly will be back but for a longer stay :)

We’ve had a lovely short break at Blue Waves, Adriano and the team really looked after us. The hotel has lovely pools and is right by the beach, fab pool bar with lovely staff and views out to sea. The rooms were spotlessly clean, nice toiletries etc. Great breakfast. The coastline is gorgeous here, lots of lovely little coves, nice bars and restaurants. We’ve enjoyed runs along the waterfront followed by a dip.
